A couple who met through Instagram when he slid into her direct messages embraced a day filled with classic Pacific Northwest weather for their Rattlesnake Lake and Franklin Falls engagement session. The day included moments of downfall rain, gusts of wind and little pockets of sunshine. This couple took whatever Mother Nature threw their way their own, and we captured some pretty epic photos along the way. Their outfits really complimented the landscape, and the texture of her dress gave the photos a lot of natural movement that wouldn’t have happened with a heavier material. Throughout their adventure engagement shoot, Rattlesnake Lake and Franklin Falls served as two incredible backdrops for these two stunners. This was one of my favorite shoots to utilize water as an opportunity to add drama and depth to these misty and moody Pacific Northwest engagement photos.

An adventure session with Nick and Nora. I hopped on the ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge Island where we spent the evening roasting mallows, dancing by the fire, and sharing stories of our favorite spots in Washington. Oh- did I mention they hand built their teardrop camper?!
