I feel most at home outdoors, so it is no surprise that is where I gravitate towards as a Seattle Elopement photographer. Throughout my life, I was known as the “granola girl” because my outfits were always prepped and ready for an impromptu adventure. From my days of exploring the hills of the Ozark Mountains, I am now hiking through Washington mountain trails, exploring the bases of waterfalls in Kauai and experiencing as many fire lookout sunset views as possible.

I really believe I get to work with the coolest couples on the planet as a Seattle elopement photographer. From skilled mountaineers to first-time visitors to national parks, I’ve had the opportunity to come alongside so many amazing humans to document their love story. My goal as your adventure wedding and elopement photographer isn’t just to capture epic photos. I aim to make the experience of bringing Between the Pine along for your adventure the best decision you’ve made (aside from saying, “Yes!” to getting married). So, to help you feel like you know more about who I am, think of this as speed dating: Seattle elopement photographer edition.
Besides hiking, what do you like to do? I love to go trail-running, garden, create new recipes, build campfires and gather my favorite people around said campfire.
If we were going out to dinner together, what would I order? Margaritas, every time. And, a side of queso.
Where is my dream vacation destination? Honestly, I would rather sleep in my roof-top tent in the mountains than in a fancy, city hotel.
What are my road trip essentials? No question: you bring the epic playlist, and I will pack the snacks.
How did you meet your husband? Funny story, I asked him to go to prom with me in high school, and he said no (even though I had a coupon for a free tux!). Now, we’ve been married for four years and are a high school sweetheart story just waiting to be picked up by Hallmark.
Ever wondered how this elopement photographer started Between the Pine? Crazy enough, this adventure wedding photography company all began as a food blog. I have always loved to cook, and creating recipes in my kitchen has always been a part of who I am. As I made new recipes, I began to take pictures of my plates before dinner to share my kitchen table with my little corner of the internet.
I had the opportunity to take my camera out of the kitchen and in to the mountains to capture my brother-in-law proposing to my best friend! After their surprise proposal, I realized that I loved documenting the moment and helping with the planning process. So, I began building what you now know as Between the Pine, an adventure wedding and elopement photography company.
Now, I'm taking the raddest couples to the tops of Washington mountains, bases of Kauai waterfalls, and deep in to the forest to capture their story. When I am not out adventuring with my clients, I am educating other entrepreneurs how to build a sustainable brand and business model. It really is the best job ever!
